Serene Screens pull from top to bottom (unlike the Phantom which pulls from side to side). In place of magnets, there is a latch inside the tracks that keeps the screen in the down position when in use, and does not require a bottom track. Tracks come in both wide and narrow widths. The wider preventing "sailing" in high wind zones. Narrow tracks are for interior use, in areas with less wind, or to accomodate the customer's taste.

Solar screens cut down the amount of UV rays, glare, as well as the heat that comes into your house. Solar blockage is available up to 90%, drastically reducing heat from penetrating windows and home, while allowing for visibility

The east and western sun can be brutal for short periods out of the day, and can affect your electric bill, flooring and furniture. Retractable screens are a solution to these problems allowing for use only when needed, without permanent obstuction.

This allows for greater visibility at other times of the day when the sun's penetration is not at it's peak
